Kaitlyn Thompson

Kaitlyn Thompson is a paralegal at Watstein Terepka LLP. She thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments that demand both creative problem-solving and critical thinking. In her role, Kaitlyn provides comprehensive support to attorneys through discovery management, drafting and filing legal documents, conducting legal research, and overseeing client caseloads. She also plays an integral role in the firm’s operations, including managing its marketing initiatives and monitoring litigation filed against existing clients.

Kaitlyn supported attorneys at one of Atlanta’s most prominent law firms in their Complex Commercial Litigation department focusing on product liability class actions. In that role, she managed heavy caseloads across multiple attorneys, gaining extensive experience in drafting and managing documents, preparing for depositions and hearings, handling state and federal court filings, and coordinating billing.

Prior to transitioning into the legal field, Kaitlyn built a foundation in field marketing, where she oversaw marketing campaigns, coordinated large-scale events, and developed targeted strategies to reach diverse audiences. This background strengthened her analytical and organizational skills, as well as her ability to balance competing priorities while supporting a wide variety of clients.

Kaitlyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies from Georgia Southern University. She is currently pursuing her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Georgia.
