Corine is a Litigation Associate at Watstein Terepka with experience defending class actions and handling complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She has handled all phases of litigation, including pre-suit matters, trial, post-hearing briefing, and appeals.
Before joining Watstein Terepka, Corine was a Litigation Associate at a global law firm in New York. There, she secured a favorable settlement in the Eastern District of New York for a leading consumer products retailer in a class action challenging the retailer’s labeling as false or misleading. She also represented an international bank in the Southern District of New York against a class asserting claims of secondary liability tied to U.S. economic sanctions violations.
Corine also maintains an active pro bono practice. She successfully represented a client on appeal from the denial of a resentencing application under New York’s Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act, securing the client’s immediate release from incarceration.
Corine served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Nicholas G. Garaufis of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she was named a James Kent Scholar and served as a Managing Editor of the Columbia Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
