Heeth Varnedoe

Heeth is a commercial litigator with experience defending class actions and other high-stakes disputes in courts and arbitration proceedings across the country. His experience includes class actions, complex commercial litigation, and contract disputes. He has represented national companies and highly regulated businesses through every stage of litigation.

Before joining WT, Heeth practiced in the litigation group of a global law firm in Atlanta, where he defended national insurance carriers, food and beverage brands, and managed care organizations in complex litigation and arbitration.

Heeth also maintains an active pro bono practice. He represented the first petitioner to be resentenced under Georgia’s Survivor Justice Act, resulting in his client’s life sentence being vacated and obtaining her immediate release after 23 years of incarceration.

Heeth earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law & Business Review. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Christopher J. McFadden of the Georgia Court of Appeals. Before law school, Heeth worked for an economist specializing in antitrust enforcement and litigation. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Washington and Lee University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
