In a case led by George Laiolo, Watstein Terepka LLP secured a significant victory for its client, Weekend Warrior Clothing LLC. After years of discovery and motion practice, Weekend Warrior defeated Amazon’s motions for summary judgment on direct and vicarious copyright infringement, guaranteeing a jury trial against Amazon in the Southern District of Ohio. Watstein Terepka is aware of no other copyright case against Amazon reaching the jury-trial stage.
