Shreya Shah is a litigation associate at Watstein Terepka. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation and dispute strategy, representing clients in high-stakes matters through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. She works closely with clients and team members to develop clear, efficient litigation approaches in matters involving technically complex legal issues and significant exposure.

Before joining the firm, Shreya practiced at Am Law 50 firms, where she represented national and global companies in sophisticated, high-stakes litigation. Her experience includes defending clients in complex disputes involving product liability, medical malpractice, water contamination, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), pesticidal devices, and toxic tort claims. She contributed to dispositive motion practice, coordinated fact and expert discovery, and supported trial and appellate strategy in these matters.

In addition to her litigation work, Shreya regularly handled matters involving technical, scientific, and regulatory considerations, helping translate complex subject-matter issues into practical compliance strategies. Her experience includes disputes implicating environmental regulatory frameworks and navigating evolving legal and technical landscapes.

Shreya has authored numerous publications on emerging litigation topics, with a particular interest in writing that helps clients anticipate risk and understand developing areas of law. Her publications include “What Cos. Should Look For As Minn. Plans PFAS Product Ban” (Law360) and “Cosmetics Regulation and Litigation in Evolution” (American Bar Association).

Shreya earned her J.D., cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Mercer Law Review and was the first Southeast Asian American to hold the role. She served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sarah H. Warren of the Supreme Court of Georgia and to the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. She remains actively engaged with Mercer University School of Law, where she serves on the Young Alumni Committee of the Alumni Board of Directors.
