Sina Safvati serves as Special Counsel at Watstein Terepka, where he represents clients in complex litigation and advises on legal strategy, risk, and dispute resolution. His practice encompasses commercial disputes, class actions, trade secret matters, consumer protection litigation, and other high-stakes business matters in federal and state courts.

Before joining the firm, Sina practiced at two leading international law firms, representing public companies, investment funds, technology and telecommunications businesses, and other sophisticated clients in significant disputes. His experience spans the full arc of complex litigation, including developing case strategy, analyzing difficult legal and factual issues, briefing significant motions, navigating critical stages of litigation, evaluating exposure and settlement options, and advising clients on the legal and business implications of contested matters. He has also advised an early-stage technology company on litigation strategy and consumer protection issues.

Sina has handled matters involving civil RICO claims, worker-classification disputes, securities and stockholder litigation, consumer protection claims, and other complex commercial disputes. Across his practice, he brings a rigorous analytical approach to consequential matters where legal, factual, and business considerations intersect.

Sina served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and to the Honorable J. Clifford Wallace of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
